My Favorite Anti-Inflammatory Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

If you suffer from stiff joints, pain and or fatigue, most likely you also have some chronic inflammation. This recipe below is one of my favorites for decreasing inflammation in the body, as well providing you with so many beneficial nutrients to help increase your energy and mobility over time. I try to use everyday, affordable ingredients that aren’t hard to find in most countries, so most of you can try it and by the way, it’s very simple to make! So go ahead, grab your high speed blender and get ready to feel a little better!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple (this reduces inflammation and speeds up healing in the body)

  • 1/2 ripe frozen banana (provides prebiotics which are vital for helping improve digestion )

  • 1 cup frozen spinach (it is anti-inflammatory and strengthens the immune system)

  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder (it is anti-inflammatory and reduces arthritis pain)

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (rich in antioxidants, helps to combat inflammation and free radicals)

  • 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger (it helps to stimulate the digestion and reduces muscle pain)

  • 1 tbsp. real honey (it improves digestion and boosts the immune system)

  • 1/2 cup real coconut milk (helps restore energy and helps heal the inflammatory processes of the joints) 

  • 2-3 ice cubes 

  • Toppings: bananas, berries, seeds
