"Don't forget to drink your H20 and get some sun because you're basically a houseplant with more complicated emotions" - Unknown

Love love love the tip today! Yes we are home and yes we have more down time than ever, but it definitely is not all relaxing and drinking champagne in pink robes all day is it? Instead, it often feels more stressful and overwhelming then before because we are connected to what is going on in the world more than ever. Every time we turn on our devices we are bombarded with bad news and disturbing images, as well as constant reminders on social media that our friends are having more fun and freedom than we are during this quarantine, am I right? All this negative information can wreak havoc on our nervous systems and ultimately our immune systems if we do not find better ways to deal with it. So here are a few tips to do this:

1. Set limits on how much time each day you spend on social media or watching to the news.

2. Plan one relaxing thing each day for you to do that does not involve using any of your devices. Hide them if you have to or turn them off.

3. Avoid feeling guilty if you are not accomplishing something productive. It is ok to not accomplish something every minute of your day. Relax and pamper yourself a bit, it is good for your health.
