Are Hidden Food Intolerances Causing You To Gain Weight?

IMG_4683.JPG

Have you tried every diet, cleanse, exercise program and consistently eaten clean and healthy foods but still find that you cannot lose weight or stubborn belly fat?

It is very possible that you are dealing with hidden food intolerances! You may not realize that you have them because food sensitivity symptoms often don’t even appear until up to 2 weeks after eating the foods you are intolerant to! This can make it very difficult to pinpoint if food intolerances are part of the cause of your inflammation and holding onto excess weight for no reason. To help you investigate, here are some of the various symptoms associated with food sensitivities to look out for:

  • Headaches

  • Dizziness

  • Burning Skin

  • Itching Skin

  • Dry patches on your skin, Eczema or Psoriasis

  • Diarrhea

  • Constipation

  • Painful muscles and joints

  • Fatigue

  • Bloating

  • Insomnia

As you can see these are often the same symptoms that come with having a chronic inflammatory illness, such as Fibromyalgia and ME. That is because people with these conditions are much more prone to having less of the good bacteria in their bodies, which is necessary to fight off the bad bacteria and prevent it from taking over. This problem can occur because of chronic infections from things like parasites and excess candida, genetics, chronic stress, too much processed foods and refined sugars, pesticides on foods and more.

So then what steps can you easily implement into your daily life, without added stress, that can help to create more good bacteria into your bodies quickly, and help to lessen food intolerances over time? Here are just a FEW STEPS I list out in the MITFIT 90 NUTRITION PACK:

  1. Try to lessen stress and find some fun things that you enjoy doing each day.

  2. Take a good quality probiotic supplement and eat foods high in probiotics and prebiotics.

  3. Take a comprehensive food sensitivity blood test for a complete list of foods you need to avoid.

  4. Keep a food journal to track your symptoms.

  5. Try to avoid processed foods and refined/artificial sugars as much as possible.

So if you are dealing with any of the above symptoms on a regular basis and you find it very difficult to lose weight, no matter what you try, then instead of going on another restrictive diet, begin by focusing on finding out your hidden food intolerances and try to take steps to increase the good bacteria in your body on a daily basis. I am positive that in time you will start to lose those extra pounds and feel so much better if you try this. It worked for me and for so many others.

I am so honored to have you with me as part of the COCOLIME FITNESS TRIBE and I hope you have a wonderful pain free, energetic day. Take care,
