Finding My Path

I was always that girl, hooked on the latest fitness craze. Remember those crazy diets and intense workouts everyone was doing? Yeah, I tried them all. I thought being healthy meant pushing myself to the limit, just like everyone else. Big mistake. I completely ignored what my own body was telling me, and I paid the price. Years of pushing through the pain eventually caught up with me. In 2015, I crashed. Hard. I could barely make it up a flight of stairs. Forget working out – daily life was a struggle. I knew I had to find a different path, one that actually worked for me.

The Search for Solutions

My "no pain, no gain" mentality totally backfired. Those trendy high-intensity workouts and super-restrictive diets, they sometimes gave me temporary results, but they always left me feeling worse. Looking back, I realize my health problems started way earlier. Unresolved emotional stuff would get bottled up, and my body reacted. Constant infections, tons of antibiotics – it was a vicious cycle. Even getting my fitness certifications in my 20s didn't stop the downward spiral. I was a personal trainer, yet I was falling apart. I was searching for answers, but everything I tried just made things worse.

A Turning Point

Then, in my early 30s, bam. Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. The pain was constant, overwhelming. I felt lost and scared. I knew I had to completely rethink everything – my diet, my exercise routine, my whole lifestyle. I tried those gentle stretching routines designed for people like me, but honestly, they didn't do a thing. I needed something more, a way to actually get fit without triggering a flare-up. Traditional workouts were out of the question. I was stuck. Even figuring out what to eat was a nightmare – endless trial and error, expensive tests, and so much stress.

Discovering the Cocolime Method

So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I dedicated a whole year to research and experimentation. I learned so much about how exercise sequencing and intensity impact chronic pain and fatigue. I started developing my own blend of movements – exercises that felt good in my body but were still challenging enough to get results. Slowly, things started to change. My pain lessened, my energy came back, and I even started seeing changes in my body. This wasn't just about managing my symptoms; it was about reclaiming my life.

Sharing My Journey

I knew I couldn't keep this to myself. There were so many other people out there, just like me, desperately searching for solutions. So, even though it was a little scary, I started the Cocolime Fitness YouTube channel in 2016. I knew I had to share what I'd learned, even if it meant putting myself out there. The response was incredible. People were finally finding workouts that actually helped them.

Building the Cocolime Community

Cocolime Fitness quickly grew beyond YouTube. In 2017, my husband and I launched the website. It became so much more than just workouts. It was a community, a place where people could connect, share tips and recipes, and find support. We created structured programs so people could follow a plan and not have to worry about what to do next.

Today Here We Are…

Today, Cocolime Fitness is a leading online platform for people with chronic conditions who are looking for real, lasting results. I'm 90% recovered, stronger than I've been in years, and living proof that the Cocolime method works. I'm passionate about helping others transform their lives, just like I did.
